  Al,

  I know, that was a typo as I meant to actually write "male's head" and 
thought I did...until I got my own message and realized I didn't...d'oh!

  (But yes everyone...if you've got a scope, you really should go and have a 
look.  There's an almost tear-drop shaped area on the male Bufflehead's 
head, in the center on the black area, where an irridescent rainbow can be 
seen and it changes, depending on the angle and the light.  Lovely!)

  Thanks for the Canuck Goose note, I inadvertently omitted them!
