This morning I tried to take a picture of three birds at our feeder but as I took the picture the birds flew away. The picture caught one of the dark-eyed juncos just after taking off from the feeder. The snow on the ground enhances the picture by increasing contrast. I saw three yellow-rumped warblers today near my feeder. That pretty much eliminates the case for their nesting here, although I did see one roosting on a purple martin house in our yard (which attracts mostly starlings). Courtship and nesting is a game for two players, not three. Jim Blowers
