[va-richmond-general] Audubon Picnic

A special guest attended our picnic, sang and entertained us, then was
delighted when we left because we had been using the space that he considered
HIS! A prothonotary warbler (pair) stayed a few yards away trying to feed the
babies in the nest while we talked and ate and had a lovely time. His (their)
nest was behind a shampoo bottle in a wooden covered shelf on a dock piling in
shallow water. Later I peeked in the nest and found two well feathered babies.
Next spring we'll make sure the accommodations are better! For the birds,
that is!
