Hey Roger, Still have White-throated sparrows, junco's and a yellow-bellied sapsucker here in Chester. Best-Julie -------------- Original message -------------- From: "Clapp, Roger" <CLAPPR@xxxxxx> Which does not require the ingestion of children. You all are amazingly good at reporting FOS and FOY dates. What about reporting LOS (Last of year dates) which to some are equally interesting. It might mean you might have to keep looking for migrants into early June or so, but I believe you are up to it. Back in the 30?s when they were reporting dates to the biological survey, they included first dates, last dates, and dates when birds became common. And there weren?t that many bird watchers then. I still have Purple Finches, Chipping Sparrows (certain migrants as they don?t nest in my yard) as well as the usual Juncos and White-throats. Regards Roger B. Clapp Museum Specialist USGS/PWRC etc.
