Hello Birders,
I spent some time looking a geese flocks this morning in Charles City and
Henrico. The very last group that I looked at contained 3 Cackling Geese.
These were on Turkey Island Road in Henrico County. I had very good looks
from the car; the birds were clearly smaller than accompanying Canadas.
Stubby bills, and blocky heads with steep foreheads.
