[va-bird] Re: threat to eagles

Patty- I do not know where Highland County is, exactly. I moved to Va. last 
year, but am also concerned about windmill farms on ridges.  Perhaps , a good 
thing for you to do, would be to locate your nearby audubon chapter and any 
other chapters, and alert them to the "potential' farms. 
                       Audubon members can go to "hearings" and make their 
views known.
Also, alerting other Audubon chapters of when hearings take place would be 
good.
   If you are well informed on the subject, perhaps speak at an Audubon 
chapter meeting.
This is just a suggestion, of course. I for one would be interested, and you 
could keep me posted. I belong to Shenandoah Audubon and am on the board. I am 
perfectly willing to inform our member about this subject matter.
