[va-bird] the other end??

only two migrants so far at and i can't ID! three-four inches less span than
the redshouldered whose territory they are in at UTM 17 414647E 2944123N
(WGS84/NAD83) and dark and distinct black borders at the wingtips. the two
arrived the morning, uh were seen the morning after the first true sool north
wind bringing the temp down to 68 or thereabouts. the utm is the squeezed
greenway through town. all paths south narrowing dramatically now in
anticipation of all the boomers heading south. that utm was a deer hunting
boundry east of the coloured section before 1965. the maps out of date by a
density factor of five or six. the birds like the two unID'ed now have a jet
guidance tower to home in on.
i interacted with two female BTG yesterday at breakfast and heard the first
female vocalization refering, maybe right?, to a primary interaction with a
female btg standing on one leg at the eave across the drive. I pointed to the
one legger(the wx was windy) and pointed to my foot whistling twice. The one
legger then looked over and put the opther leg down briefly then raised it. The
female right above my breakfast position then looked down sideways at me when i
glanced upward and said "quork quork"!!
anyone know what "quork quork" means?
badbirdz blog nwamer@xxxxxxxxxxx has reference to the key west migratory bird
radar and's worth a look.if not for cuban jets then...
