Renee: More than likely the Yellow-rumped is over-wintering in your area.
I see Y-R all winter here in Lexington.
On the other hand, I got a reliable report of a Red-winged Blackbird at a
bird feeder in the Lexington area, yesterday. So, spring can't be too far
behind.
