[va-bird] probable Ross's Goose, Fauquier County

VA Birders,

A probable Ross's Goose was found this morning by Kurt Gaskill and
later, independently, by Todd Day (who just happened to stop by there)
at the lake on Belvoir Road in Fauquier County. As of 2:15pm the bird
was still there. It is amongst about 500 Canada Geese which is by far
the easiest way to see a Ross's Goose in the east. To reach this spot,
take I-66 west from the D.C. area (or east from Winchester) to the Rt.
17 south exit at Marshall. Head south on Rt. 17 a mile or two and then
take a left on Belvoir Road (I think it's Tt. 705 but I could be wrong
about that number). The lake will be on your left in a very short
distance and there is a pull off large enough to hold up to three cars
there.
