For what it's worth, I gave this binocular a serious try, but=
 wound up getting the Swarovski 8.5x42 ELs instead.  Optically=
 the LX equals the EL in bright light, but the EL is clearly=
 superior in less-than-ideal light situations, not to mention=
 being lighter than the Nikon.
