[va-bird] new yardbird!

Howdy VAbirders!

Yesterday I unplugged one ear and took a peek from under the brown paper
bag a few times and heard and saw our FOS Red-eyed Vireo and a while later
our FOS Blue-headed Vireo. Nice!

And this morning before donning cottonballs and paper bag I got Black&White
Warbler, Common Yellowthroat, and BIG surprise, Yellow-throated Vireo!

Yellow-throated Vireo is a new yardbird for us, and a lifebird for my son,
Gabriel. He spotted the bird first, knew it was something different, and
said, "Hello, what's this?!!" I fumbled with my nox, pleaded with the bird
to show me something other than it's undertail, coaxed it from behind the
new leaves, and exclaimed, "Sonuva gun, it's a Yellow-throated
Vireo!" Having been in Texas again recently I saw quite a few, but never
expected to see one here in our garden. Cool!

That makes our yard a 5 vireo yard, if my memory serves me
correctly...Red-eyed, White-eyed, Blue-headed, Philadelphia, and now
Yellow-throated. Am I being greedy if I hope for Warbling this
season??? Yessir, totally cool!
