On an FHS marine science field trip at VIMS in
Wachapreague with co-biology teacher Fred
Chanania this weekend, after feasting our eyes on
such wonders as lemon drop nudibranchs, spaghetti
worms, sea pork tunicates, sea grapes, sea
cucumbers, brown shrimp, and a multitude of other
astounding marine critters, dessert was an
excellent view of a lark sparrow in someone's
front lawn near the corn field on Church St in
Wachapreague this morning. The Lark Sparrow was
among a flock of much smaller chipping sparrows.
All the best
Fred
