howdy from the park. Dreadfully slow day. Sticky, stagnant weather with
southerly winds got nothing moving. What bird would want to move with that
tropical moisture just to the south? Anyway, here are the modest totals.

One interesting bird was a juvenile Osprey carrying a fish that was
color-banded. It had a red color-band on its right leg. Does anyone know where
Osprey are being banded along the eastern seaboard. I suspect it came from
somewhere in the Chesapeake, but if anyone has more information on this, I'd
appreciate it.
Banding was slow today, too. One juv female Sharp-shinned.
