[va-bird] kiptopeke 24 oct

well, the flight was less than stellar today, but Deniz was on fire, capturing 
over 10% of the flight (excluding vultures). It seemed for a while that every 
accipiter that popped over the treeline in front of the platform stooped into 
the station. I was hoping for a Goshawk today, there was that feeling in the 
air. Alas, no. 
Several loons passed over this morning, rusty blackbirds are moving, 3 snow 
geese chugged by, and the tree swallow swarm was impressive this afternoon.
