[va-bird] Re: innapropriate post

I have a Birdy stories! Siberia!
I have an ear infection and lay down to pour the stuff in for 5 min. Birdy 
comes above me tthe roof eave 8" above and sez: long whistle, long whistle, 
short whistle (dead! sez twice) - I raise one foot ( for 'man'), Birdy sez- 
short whistle short whistle for 'man' then starts 'heheheheheh' for approval.
 
Birdy and freinds flock come by just before i leave on the cycle for 
work-that's brunch for Birdy. I left the last dog food in the back of the 
garage, couldn't get at it. Rode out sans brunch for Birdy. Went up the road 
then thought I'll go the other way, and past Birdy out on the street's computer 
wires- sez Birdy(who has been taught to tell time but of course does not as a 
habit) long W, longW, longW, shortW, shortW- for you guessed it LUNCH!
 
A birdy fell from the wire at at dawn: broken wing/body connector. died(maybe 
of fright) at my door on  a sheet of plastic cardboard. Gruesome. Birdy 
eulogized- birdy sez:  .-.  --  --.   sky  dark  dead.
 
I complain to PEEP, who does PEEP following my mistake of peeping whereafter 
everything on the planet including our red shouldered hawk begn peeping for two 
months ending all useful language research for the duration- that I never know 
him out beyond the compound: this in english.
 
500 yards away and around the first corner in Plumbersville, there above on the 
pole against the blue island winter sky, is off course PEEP going Peep peep 
peep.

Anyway, I think that you are harmless enough. At least you are not inviting 
everyone on the list to a quail dinner. 
 
By the way, Paul. How are we to conjecture when a post is deemed to be 
inappropriate by you? Many many many posts to VA-Bird lack at least one of the 
three criteria that you listed.
 
Also, I was wondering where Lori Markoff was. Has she been removed from the 
list for some reason? I haven't seen a post from her all summer.
