All, I just want to thank all the folks who provided me with lots of helpful info on digital cameras and digiscoping. I discovered that the process seems fairly technical and that one really has to figure out which cameras will work with which scopes. Since I have an older scope and it appears that it might be difficult to get a good adpater I am currently leaning towards just going with a high optical zoom of 10 or 12 with a stabilizing mechanism. I tend to bird a lot without my scope anyway except when Hawkwatching or at the shore. Latter on when I upgrade my scope, I will then buy a second camera for digiscoping. Again thanks!
