[va-bird] blasphemy

I know, I know - but the devil made me do it...I participated in the C&O 
Canal count today - while it was a little chilly to start...it turned into a 
pretty good day. Maryland birds look a lot like VA birds...

Anyway, making my way back home, I stopped at Roach's Run. Another birder 
just leaving mentioned 6 Black-crowned Night Herons on the far 
shore...checking it out, I counted 8 - split between adults and juvies. There 
was one hunkered way down in the glare that could have gone either 
way...stopping at the stone bridge over Little Hunting Creek, I got a second 
hand report that the Orange - crowned Warbler was still about, although a 
Sharpie had tried to take it as these birders looked on - they think it got
