[va-bird] barn swallow, yellow throated warblers, horned lark, snipe, savannah sparrows

On March 27, saw my first barn swallow of the year. This was on Cat Point
Creek, Richmond County.
Today, yellow throated warblers are making a grand entrance: heard singing in
several locations in Essex County and on the opposite side of the Rappahannock
River in Richmond County.
Two horned larks flushed from a field on Paynes Island,
W. snipe on the Hutchinson tract in Tappahannock (and where I observed an
immature bald eagle steal a fish from an osprey)
Lots of savannah sparrows still here in managed grasslands.
