Joyce and I heard and then saw a Yellow-throated Verio in our yard today.
What a beautiful song! This is our first sighting of this species at home.
(We have lived here 30 years.)
Our resident Red-shouldered Hawk female is on the nest and the male chased
away a Red-tailed Hawk today.
