[va-bird] Yellow-crowned Night Heron at Lake Accotink, Springfield

A short walk around the head waters of Lake Accotink today produced a great 
close and extended look at a Yellow-crowned Night Heron in the marshy area 
where the creek begins to open up.  I even had the priveledge of watching it 
regurgitate something it ate and then eat it again.  There were also close to 
100 turtles sunning themselves, everywhere they could find.
