Saw my First Yellow-crowned Night Heron of the year, it flew over the house
this morning. I guess it was quite a surprise for it not to find the tree they
have been nesting in for the past 4 years. Thanks to hurricane Isabel
the tree is no longer here. This is about 10 days later arriving than they have
been in the past 5 years in my area. Now they will be staring later and have to
fine a new home also. Hope it will be close by.
