From BirdChat listserv. You can help in the Ivory-billed Woodpecker search.
Hi BIRDCHATTERS,
Paul Sykes and I are investigating large woodpecker foraging sign.
Please see the images and description at
http://www.coastalgeorgiabirding.org/misc/furrows.htm
for a request for your help in acquiring additional information. This is
one aspect of a
study trying to determine if the presence of Ivory-billed Woodpeckers can be
implied from examination of foraging sign.
Please forward this to your state's listserv (if your state has Pileated
Woodpeckers).
