I am studying an unusual mallard nest in a tree beside Woodglen Lake, Fairfax,
VA (ADC map coordinates 20H5). I would appreciate any field notes regarding
mallard nests or young from others who may have birded the lake this Spring.
Many neighbors do not know the name of the lake, but walk there regularly. It
is accessible on foot from Zion Drive, Southport Lane or Goldeneye Lane. The
nest I have studied is at the feeder stream end of the lake, not the dam end.
