It was a crisp morning on the Hike/Bike trail, but the cloud patterns were
beautiful. The highlight was a pair of woodcocks foraging in the leaves
within 20 feet of the trail in the woods just past the first meadow. I have
rarely gotten a long view of a woodcock in good light. What a gorgeous
bird! Good diversity of sparrows. Catbirds and phoebe still hanging in.

got to listen to a RAVEN vocalizing for a while, and later found 2 RB
nuthatches.
