Thanks to Laura's frequent updates, we know how well the young female Rufous
Hummingbird is getting along in the Ripley Garden in Washington, D.C. I
haven't heard or read anything about other winter hummers in the Metro area for
some time; I believe there was one in the Manassas area and one near Roundhill
in Virginia and a two more in northwest D.C. Are these hummingbirds still
showing up? Have any other hummers appeared in the Washington area?
