VA Birders and Others,
Yesterday morning I looked out the window here on Compton Mt in Buchanan County
and saw 9 WILD TURKEYS feeding through the neighbor's field just across the
road.
A short time later, as my wife and I were driving around the mountain, we found
16 WILD TURKEYS feeding in a pasture.
The resident RED-SHOULDERED HAWKS that nest here on the mountain every year are
really active, wheeling, turning and diving as they call. They are obviously
ready for spring.

Enjoy the Birds,

Roger Mayhorn
Compton Mt
Buchanan County
