The Greater White-fronted Goose previously reported from Mill Creek Lake in
Amherst County was still present today (12/28) between 3:30 and 5:00 PM. The
bird was seen with a large flock of Canada Geese. Others seeing the bird
this afternoon were Bob and Betty Epperson, Tom Franklin and Lee Boatwright.
Also present on the lake were Ruddy Duck, Hooded Merganser, Bufflehead,
Mallard, P-billed Grebe and Great Blue Heron.
