A mid-morning wave attracted to the mister in my yard included a Veery, then
a Yellow-bellied Flycatcher, and eight warbler species--Black and White,
Canada, Cerulean, Chestnut-sided, Magnolia, Nashville, Palm (western race), and
Redstart.
I just read Ned Brinkley's report on last night's big flight over Cape
Charles. The fall migration seems to be off with a bang.
