[va-bird] Virginia Rail, Sky Meadows SP; Sat. 6/26

Hello, birders.

This morning at around 7am I heard a VIRGINIA RAIL
calling (kik kik kik kidick kidick, etc.) at Sky
Meadows SP in Fauquier Co.  This bird was calling
intermittently in between the fishing pond and the
parking lot for said pond, in the patch of dense
vegetation.  I left this spot after about 10 minutes.

This is my first rail for the park.  I understand that
there is at least one other record of this species at
Sky Meadows but I am unaware of when or of the exact
location.

There are lots of ticks in the higher grass at the
park so please be careful.
