[va-bird] Vermilion Flycatcher/Baltimore Oriole

Hello Birders,
After spending hours yesterday looking for a sign of the Vermilion
Flycatcher we thought we saw the night before..I found nothing. Being out
there watching the same tree at the same exact time last evening, we still
felt like it was a red flycatcher that we saw. But without an actual photo
of the bird there's not much proof.
My day wasn't wasted however. Early in the day around 7:30 I was treated to
a male Baltimore Oriole sitting in that same tree. The pictures aren't the
greatest due to the lack of nice light, but I was happy to see him. It was a
first for my yard, although we had lots of them back home in the Berkshires
in Massachusetts.
As you can see, the male is collecting nest material. I was unable to see
where he went with it, but at least I know they will be breeding in the
area, and I'll be looking for the female.

Just as I was giving up on finding the Flycatcher, a male Rose-breasted
Grosbeak was helping himself to sunflower seed on my feeding platform.
Those pictures are right after the Oriole.
Also had some Yellow Rumps, and White throated sparrows flitting around.
My apologies for getting everyone excited about the Vermilion.
Happy Thursday
