Went to Tysons again last night. Few birds from the 8:30 lights-on till
about 8:50. By the time I left about 9:10, however, there were 30 or more
fairly high up in the lights. The view was much better from the road on the
back side of the building. I also heard several of the "pent" calls, which
are unusual in the fall. The calls seemed to be coming not from the birds
in the air but from the trees along the road behind the buildings. This has
happened before in prior years. The number of birds should be increasing
for several more days now.
