Counted about 52 Ring-necked Ducks on Kingstowne Lake this morning
(corner of Kingstowne Village Parkway and South Van Dorn Street, in
Fairfax County just south of the west end of Alexandria).
Usual assortment of other birds--Canadas, Ring-billed Gulls, Mallards, a
Greylag, a Northern Mockingbird, and many inquisitive sparrows.
