I have recently checked the prices of a Kowa spotting scope at ADORAMA in New
York.
Parenthetically, ADORAMA has indicated that some of the Kowa products are
"Gray Market."
Can anyone advise me what this assignation "Gray Market" means? Does it have
to do with warranty? Quality of inspection during the inspection process
during its manufacture? The prices are appreciably lower, and mention of
this by Adorama must have some significance.
I appreciate any comments you might have.
