[va-bird] Teen Bird Club trip coming up this Saturday

Hello Teen Birders!
The next field trip for the Northern Virginia
Teen Bird Club, sponsored by The Audubon Society
of Northern Virginia and Flint Hill School is
scheduled for this Saturday, March 5 from 7:00 AM
to 11:30 AM.  The destination is undetermined but
at this point we plan to visit some of the areas
along the Potomac River such as Hain's Point and
Belle Haven picnic area.  We will meet at Flint
Hill School in Oakton, VA and travel by school
minibus.  All birders in grades 8-12, beginners
or experts, are welcome.  PLease call or e-mail
Mr. Atwood to let him know of your interest.  We
have two spotting scopes and extra binoculars.  

To get to Flint Hill, take exit 60 from route 66
onto route 123 towards Vienna and Oakton.  Turn
left after 1/4 mile at the second light onto
Jermantown Rd.  After about a mile turn right
into the FHS west campus 200 yards after passing
Oak Marr Park.  Meet in the circle in front of
the school.
