[va-bird] TV's & more TV's in South Boston on 01/11/05

Greetings to all:
Yesterday afternoon from 1500 hrs to 1600 hrs on  01/11/05 in South Boston, I 
had a very large kettle of Turkey Vultures soaring overhead at my house.

First they were in the backyard down low and then glided over to the front and 
formed a very large flock totaling somewhere around 500 birds.  As I watched 
them for an hour, I didn't see a single Black Vulture in the flock even though 
we have a large flock of Black Vultures about a mile from my house.

I was hoping to see a Bald Eagle in the group as I have seen them about a half 
mile to the south of my house but NO luck with them either.
