Birds 'N Nature Fest

This is a reminder that Potomac Valley Audubon Society will celebrate their 
20th Anniversary with a Birds 'N Nature Fest THIS Saturday, June 22, from 
10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the USF&WS National Conservation Training Center 
(NCTC) by Shepherdstown, WV.  For directions to NCTC go to:

This Birds 'n Nature Fest is FREE and open to the public. It features live 
raptors, a bird-banding demonstration, nature walks, children activities, 
beginning birder walks, and 17 in-door activity tables from binoculars to 
butterflies. Our local experts will be here to answer most of your 
questions on exotic and native plants, shade grown coffee, birdseed and 
nest boxes among the topics.  Our Kingfisher Nature Store will have snacks, 
wonderful t-shirts, books and bird feeders and we'll have raffles and lots 
of freebies too.

Come out to this beautiful campus and listen to the Celtic and blue grass 
bands and enjoy the Art Show all featuring local artists.  These will 
complement Mother Nature's own native sounds and art show outdoors!
