Dropped by Sunrise Valley Park in Reston this afternoon at about 130pm.
A very handsome Belted Kingfisher decided to pose for me in two
different spots around the pond. If you like you can see a few of the
pictures I got:

I didn't walk the whole park, mostly stayed on the bridge and the path
just past the bridge. There are a couple Palm Warblers who have been
there in that area for my last few visits. There were about five
Rough-winged Swallows staying pretty busy flying over the pond.
In my quick trip, I saw:
Eastern Towhee
Red-winged Blackbird
Mallard
Canada Goose
Palm Warbler
Northern Flicker
Common Grackle
American Goldfinch
Yellow-rumped Warbler
Turkey Vulture
Belted Kingfisher
American Robin
Song Sparrow
I'm sure there was much more to find if I had time to walk the park.
