Hello all
Yesterday morning 9 members & friends of the Augusta Bird Club enjoyed a day of
birding at Lake Moomaw in Bath County . The waterfowl numbers were down but we
managed to tally 47 species of birds . In all of the times that I have gone to
Lake Moomaw this is the first time that I have seen it so low on water . In
places it looked like it was at least 20 feet from where the usual water levels
were to be . We did not even have one Canada Goose nor did we hear one . Anyway
here is the most note worthy birds seen or heard from the trip .

Bald Eagle -- 3 -- 2 imm. & one adult

Blue Jay -- about 75 + they were every where
