Yesterday (June 12) morning I heard the whistled "Sam Peabody, Peabody,
Peabody" of a White-throated Sparrow in my yard in Waynesboro. It sounded off
twice, about 20 minutes apart. This is the latest I've ever encountered this
species here. According to YuLee Larner we've had 4 prior summer records of
this bird in Augusta County. /John Spahr
