Yes. An office colleague recently found a hummingbird on the ground,
presumably, dead -- completely encased in spider web. She was able to
disentangle the hummer and place it on a nearby plant, where it gradually
recovered, rested, fed and eventually flew.
I have also seen pictures (as well as hearing numerous tales) of hummingbirds
becoming the prey of praying mantis, incredible as it may sound.
