[va-bird] Strange Goose

A quick trip to Chincoteague today produced no unusual birds except for
a very strange looking goose.

It stayed very close to a Canada goose with which it appeared to have
bonded.   
The photos were taken in the northeast corner of the wildlife loop  
 
Any ideas about what it could be ?
