We visited Broadkill, Delaware over Thanksgiving and were treated to an
incredible sight!
In a very large pond near Broadkill Road, we saw 30,000 to 40,000 Snow Geese
fly in every day
until this pond was covered.

They started coming in at noon and this continued until sunset each day.
The sight and the sound was unbelievable.

In the past we have seen huge flocks come in to Assateague but this
surpassed that.
