Sorry for belated post but our group from Monticello Bird Club arrived back
in Charlottesville area early Sunday evening after a 3-day weekend trip to
Eastern Shore and Chincoteague.
Several of us came across two Snow Bunting (photographed) this past
Saturday evening along the short access road that runs parallel to the main
causeway (Rt. 175) at the bridge approximately 3/4 miles west of
Chincoteague. This access road is to the right as you're heading into
Chincogeague (on left heading west to mainland; this access road leads to
boat ramp and overlooks oyster beds.)
