[va-bird] Snipe, Sol. sandpipers, etc. at Huntley Meadows - FFX Co.

At just a little after noon, I took advantage of the nice overcast
weather to go out onto the boardwalk, and there, just a few feet from the
raised section of the circle were Greater and Lesser Yellowlegs, two
Solitary Sandpipers, gobs of rough-winged swallows, and, as I was
studying the sandpipers, suddenly a beautiful snipe appeared in my field
of vision in the process of preening -- still quite close to the
boardwalk. Later, just before the woods, there was a Great Egret, again
very close to the boardwalk stalking and then nabbing his prey.

Hopefully, all of these guys will hang around for the NVBC walk tomorrow
