[va-bird] Snickers Gap, 10/28/03 YES!!!!!!

A great gap day!  East/southeast winds never too strong, clouds and BIRDS:
BE -    3 (1 adult, 2 imm.)
NH -   21 (including 2 grey ghosts)
SS -   88            
CH -   26 (a good accip. day!)
RS -   13
RT -    76
GE -     3 ! (all babes in the woods)
ME -     1
UR -    10

total - 241

Most of the time the birds were reasonably visible, but not always (and they
seemed always to pick the bluest parts of the sky) and sometimes they
were coming just too fast and furious to get a good enough look, hence the
unidents.

The other lucky folks were, Jen Folts, BJ Westervelt, Joseph Dantt, Ms. Boyce
(sorry I don't have the first name), Ralph Wall, and the unforgettable IAN.
