Hello, birders.

I birded the (Rolling) Meadow Trail at Sky Meadows
today.  Intermittant drizzle and mist fell.  I got to
see the LOGGERHEAD SHRIKE pair that was reported by
Robert Klarquist last week.  The birds were in their
now usual spot near the duck ponds.  One bird was
eating something but I couldn't see what it was.

Sparrow migration is underway, with a VESPER seen, as
well as more common species.  I may have had one or
two Vesper's last weekend but I couldn't be sure.  I
saw a single WILD TURKEY at the edge of one of the
fields.  I flushed a WILSON'S SNIPE from the edge of
one of the duck ponds.  I found 6 snipe on the W side
of the park last weekend.  PHOEBES and ROBINS continue
to move through.
