Saturday, December 7, I birded near Nokesville,
looking for the longspurs and snow buntings. I found
neither.
Unfortunately, my luck was even worse than simply not
finding the birds. At one stop, somewhere near the
high school, I left my Sibley guide on top of my car.
It fell off when I drove away.
When I discovered the guide was missing, I returned to
the area, but the book was nowhere to be found.
Perhaps someone saw it and picked it up.
I would appreciate hearing from you, if you found an
abandoned Sibley guide. I promise to take better care
of it in the future, if it is returned.
