Two sedge wrens were found on one of the Refuge tracts in Essex County,
Virginia, near Tappahannock, on Sunday, August 8, on  Wednesday, August
11.  One male seen singing vigorously, another heard but not seen a short
distance away.   John Drummond confirmed their presence (and also possibly
a female) again on Thursday, August 12.    Each time the male was observed
singing on the same territory.  This tract has limited  and restricted
public access in order to safeguard possible breeding attempts.
