[va-bird] Sedge Wren, Huntley Meadows, Frfx Co, 9/23/04

VA BIRDers,
This morning there was a Sedge Wren in the vegetation defined by the boardwalk
loop. It was in cattails near the emerging willow tree.
Also notable were:
Greater Yellowlegs 4
Lesser Yellowlegs 2
Spotted Sandpiper 1
Cooper's Hawk (imm, present for several days)
Marsh Wren 1, near the beaver dam
House Wren 1
Carolina Wren 4
Gray Catbird 5
Palm Warbler 2
Common Yellowthroat 13
Scarlet Tanager 1, singing
Song Sp 2
Lincoln's Sp 1
Swamp Sp 7
Arleen Richmond spoke to me about 4 Black & Whites and a Magnolia.
