Greetings,

A wonderful mixture of migrants made for a nice walk at Manassas Battlefield
this morning.

Best birds for me were:

* Solitary Sandpiper (2)
* Scarlet Tanager
* Yellow-throated Vireo (White-eyed & Red-eyed, too)
* Eastern Kingbird (pair)
* Orchard Oriole
* Worm-eating Warbler (along Young's Branch)
* Yellow-throated Warbler
* Prairie Warblers (6)
* Common Yellowthroat (13)
* Barred Owls (2 calling back & forth)
* Red-breasted Nuthatch (2)
* Hooded Merganser (female landed in a swampy area of Young's Branch)

It was a labor intensive birding venture because there were SO MANY
Yellow-rumps to sort through! One Yellow-rump was odd looking-his head was
completely white. I've never seen a partial albino yellow-rump before.
